We are delighted to be recruiting a Temporary Office Assistant to join our client’s fast-paced and professional team in London. This is a short-term opportunity, ideal for someone with strong organisational and administrative skills who thrives in a front-of-house environment and enjoys being the face of an office. The successful candidate will be reliable, proactive, and able to hit the ground running to ensure a smooth and professional office operation during this period.

Office Assistant – Temporary | London | £14 per hour
Dates: 7th–10th April 2025 (with a 2-hour handover on Wednesday 2nd April)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Front of House: Welcoming visitors and clients, answering incoming calls, and managing general enquiries with a professional manner.

  • Administrative Support: Assisting with filing, scanning, document handling, and day-to-day office admin tasks.

  • Meeting Support: Booking and preparing meeting rooms, coordinating refreshments, and ensuring meetings run seamlessly.

  • Office Supplies: Managing stock levels and liaising with suppliers to ensure essential items are replenished.

  • Travel Coordination: Supporting the team with travel and accommodation arrangements as needed.

  • Database Management: Accurate data entry and maintaining internal records and systems.

  • Event Support: Providing ad hoc assistance for internal events and team activities.

  • Office Upkeep: Ensuring the office remains organised, presentable, and aligned with health and safety standards.

Person Specification:

  • Previous experience in an Office Assistant, Receptionist, or administrative support role.

  • Confident communicator with a friendly and professional demeanour.

  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask.

  • Tech-savvy, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

  • Proactive, adaptable, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
