Location: Manchester City Centre (Full-Time, Office-Based)
Salary: Up to £25,000 per annum (DOE)

 

A brilliant opportunity has arisen for an Office Coordinator to join a friendly and successful consultancy within the creative industry on a permanent basis.

This full-time, office-based role in Manchester City Centre offers progression and development opportunities. Reporting to a down-to-earth and hard-working Executive Assistant/Office Manager, you will have the chance to learn and grow in a supportive environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing travel arrangements, including researching availability, booking, and handling associated tasks.
  • Coordinating meeting rooms, managing bookings, and preparing rooms for external meetings.
  • Assisting with company-wide events, including Gatherings and Corporate Hospitality events, liaising with event managers, and addressing food allergen considerations.
  • Attending meetings and documenting key points when required by management.
  • Providing holiday cover for the Office Manager.
  • Offering a professional welcome to visitors and clients, ensuring security protocols are followed and refreshments are provided.
  • Being the first point of contact for incoming calls, forwarding or taking accurate messages as needed.
  • Managing incoming post and legal documentation, registering items in associated systems, and arranging board-level signatures.
  • Performing general office duties, including reprographics, stationery ordering, courier arrangements, and office upkeep.
  • Maintaining records related to office attendance, insurance renewals, and similar tasks.
  • Supporting the wider team with administrative tasks to meet project deadlines.

Person Specification

  • Friendly and approachable.
  • Previous office experience or transferable skills are preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with colleagues at all levels.
  • Well-organised and detail-oriented.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient IT skills.
  • Reliable and willing to assist colleagues as needed.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently without constant supervision.
