Job Title: Office Manager – Dynamic Events Agency | Location: London | Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 (DOE)

A brilliant opportunity has arisen for an Office Manager to join a busy and dynamic events agency. This is an ideal role for an Office Manager with experience in a vibrant agency environment. Reporting to the Head of Business Operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of their new London office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Office Contract Management: Negotiate supplier contracts to ensure best value and service.
  • Budget Management: Draft and manage office budgets effectively.
  • Process Improvement: Review back-office systems and processes to identify and implement efficiencies.
  • PA Support: Provide occasional PA support to four Board Directors to ensure their days run smoothly.
  • Travel Coordination: Book travel and create itineraries, assisting with expenses management.
  • Diary Management: Oversee calendar management for directors and teams.
  • Ad Hoc Requests: Manage requests such as booking restaurants, purchasing client gifts, or arranging lunches for board meetings.

Skills and Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience managing or assisting in the management of an office, preferably within an agency or creative industry.
  • Independent thinker, highly organised, and self-motivated.
  • Hands-on approach; comfortable with tasks ranging from replacing light bulbs to troubleshooting first-line IT issues (with external IT support).
  • Confident communicator, capable of managing relationships at all levels to keep the office running smoothly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (formulas, pivot tables), with the ability to quickly learn new platforms and systems.
  • A self-starter with entrepreneurial instincts and a strategic mindset, while maintaining meticulous attention to detail and lateral thinking problem-solving skills.
  • Always willing to go the extra mile; First Aider, Mental Health First Aider, or health & safety qualifications would be advantageous.

This role offers a competitive salary between £35,000 to £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
