Office Manager / Administrator
Location: Oxford
Salary: £28,000 plus excellent benefits
Contract Type: 1 Year Fixed Term Contract
A brilliant opportunity has arisen for an experienced Office Manager / Administrator to join an award-winning architectural and consultancy firm.
This full-time role is based in their Oxford office and is ideal for someone who is helpful, flexible, and enjoys being the go-to person in the office, approachable to all.
Responsibilities:
- Facilities Management: Ensure all Health & Safety and ISO standards are achieved and maintained.
- Office Supplies: Ensure adequate stock of stationery, kitchen, and office supplies.
- Project Administration Support: Assist with booking travel, printing professional reports and drawings, filing, etc.
- Meeting Coordination: Book meeting rooms, host guests, and coordinate meetings from start to finish.
- Front Office Duties: Meet and greet visitors and handle incoming calls.
- Event Management: Arrange and manage local staff events, celebrations, and employee recognition.
- Employee Support: Act as the go-to person for all employee office needs.
- Annual Meeting Schedule: Produce and maintain the Annual Meeting Schedule.
- Record Keeping: Record updates for starters and leavers, and manage corporate subscriptions and membership renewals.
- Team Support: Provide administrative support and be willing to assist with a range of projects and initiatives.
Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in an Office Management or Administrator role.
- Good numerical skills and mathematical competency.
- Flexible approach with the ability to prioritise tasks.
- Experience working in a pressured environment with frequent interruptions.
- Proven problem-solving skills.
- Professional demeanour and strong communication skills.
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Enthusiasm for developing skills and knowledge.
