Office & Operations Manager – Private Equity Firm, London | Salary: Up to £50,000

An experienced Office & Operations Manager is required to join a private equity firm based in the West End. Overseeing all workplace services activities, including facilities, services, and some administrative functions across two sites in London, this is a critical role within the business, offering immediate, short-term, and longer-term responsibilities and challenges as the business continues to expand.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with external project teams to assist with office move/relocation, managing key stakeholders and workflows.
  • Manage administration systems and workflows to ensure daily office operations run smoothly, including events, travel, and facilities services.
  • Oversee the Front of House team, including catering staff.
  • Ensure Health & Safety in line with company sustainability and safety policies.
  • Conduct inspections, audits, and servicing of building structures and materials.
  • Manage company suppliers and office inventory.
  • Oversee company insurances, renewals, and coverage.
  • Plan space and capacity, including onboarding new employees.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Previous/current experience managing administration and/or facility functions in complex, large office spaces.
  • Relevant qualifications/accreditation in facilities management, hospitality, or building management.
  • Experience in office relocation and supplier management.
  • Understanding of AV systems, ventilation, and connectivity in multi-room venue/office spaces.
  • Experience in hospitality or corporate venue management.
  • Risk/Hazard management, with the ability to prepare audits for third-party inspections.
  • Current first aid certification, along with fire, HAZMAT, and emergency evacuation training.
