Operational Support Position
Location: Manchester City Centre
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum (DOE) plus benefits
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time, Hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 days remote)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive Operational Support professional to join a friendly and dynamic organisation based in Manchester city centre. This newly created role is ideal for a candidate with experience in operational support or related functions, offering the chance to shape and build the role over time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compliance and Audits: Support health & safety compliance and external audits.
- Event Organisation: Coordinate and manage office events, team gatherings, socials, and seasonal celebrations.
- Internal Communications: Compile and circulate internal updates, including new starter announcements and team events.
- New Starter Support: Arrange equipment and manage software licenses for new team members, oversee company mobile devices and internal phone systems.
- Sustainability Initiatives: Act as the key contact for sustainability, representing the company's green initiatives, and maintaining ISO certifications.
- ISO and Accreditation Management: Maintain essential ISO certifications, manage audits (ISO 9001 and ISO 20121), and ensure relevant documentation is up-to-date.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Build strong relationships across departments, providing support and regular updates on operational and sustainability initiatives.
- Questionnaires and Tenders: Complete data security questionnaires, environmental questionnaires, and company-related PQQs as part of tender processes.
- General Administrative Support: Provide support across various teams, including covering absences as needed.

- Experience in an operational support or related role.
- Confident, personable, and approachable.
- Ability to embed within the business and build long-standing internal and external relationships.
- Strong multitasking skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
- High attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for sustainability and environmental initiatives.
