Payroll and Benefits Assistant
Location: UK-Based (Hybrid Working Available)
We are delighted to be working with a top-tier professional services firm to recruit a Payroll and Benefits Assistant to join their UK-based team, supporting the firm globally. Reporting to the Lead Payroll and Benefits Specialist, this role offers an exciting opportunity to take ownership of payroll processes while contributing to the firm's benefits strategy and implementing process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing monthly payroll for employees globally.
- Administering new starters and leavers, ensuring seamless transitions.
- Completing tasks in line with reporting timelines and annual reporting requirements.
- Liaising with benefits and pension providers.
- Maintaining and updating the benefits platform.
- Identifying and implementing process improvements, upgrades, and system testing.
- Managing the year-end process, including tax code administration.
- Ensuring data accuracy across all HR and payroll systems.
- Conducting monthly and annual benefits reconciliations in collaboration with the senior team.
- Partnering with the wider HR team to deliver payroll and benefits-related strategic initiatives.
- Proposing, planning, and driving efficiency improvements to streamline processes and enhance accuracy.
