Position: People Assistant (Full-Time, Permanent)

Our client, a growing company based in London, is seeking a highly organised and proactive People Assistant to join their HR team on a permanent, full-time basis. This role is ideal for someone with previous experience in HR support or administration, looking to develop their career in a forward-thinking business. You will play a key role in supporting the HR team and assisting with the smooth running of the company's people-related processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the HR team with a variety of administrative tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assisting with the recruitment process, including posting job adverts, scheduling interviews, and managing candidate communications.
  • Maintaining employee records and updating the HRIS (Human Resources Information System).
  • Supporting onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring smooth transitions for all employees.
  • Managing the administration of employee benefits and responding to employee queries.
  • Assisting in the coordination of training sessions, development programmes, and HR-related events.
  • Providing support to HR projects, including diversity and inclusion initiatives and employee engagement activities.
  • Assisting in drafting HR communications, policies, and procedures as needed.

Person Specification:

  • Previous experience in an HR Assistant, People Assistant, or similar role is preferred.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and work proactively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Experience using HR software or systems is desirable.
  • A genuine interest in supporting people and contributing to HR best practices.
