HR Assistant – Prestigious Professional Services Firm – City of London (Permanent)
We are delighted to partner with a highly prestigious professional services firm to find an exceptional HR Assistant to join their dynamic team on a permanent basis. Based in the heart of the City, this role offers the opportunity to step into a more autonomous position, working closely with the HR Business Partner to deliver a seamless and efficient HR service across EMEA.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and driven individual to transition into a more strategic role. Acting as a junior HR Advisor, you will gain exposure to high-level interactions with senior stakeholders and play a vital role in driving HR initiatives across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the joiners and leavers process, ensuring a smooth employee lifecycle.
- Serve as the first point of contact for HR queries, managing the centralised HR inbox.
- Support, and eventually lead, low-level employee relations (ER) cases, including maternity, paternity, absence management, and probation reviews.
- Assist with complex ER cases by preparing paperwork and note-taking during meetings.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date organisational charts and HR records.
- Collaborate with the Diversity and Inclusion team to deliver impactful initiatives.
- Keep the HR system updated, ensuring accurate data and reporting.
- Stay informed on UK employment law to provide accurate guidance and support.
- Lead and contribute to HR-related project work, driving improvements across the function.
