Personal Assistant – Not-for-Profit Organisation
Location: Cheadle, South Manchester
Contract: 1-Year Fixed-Term Contract (with potential for extension and permanent position thereafter)
Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum DOE + Benefits
We are delighted to be recruiting for a Personal Assistant to join a highly regarded not-for-profit organisation based in Cheadle, South Manchester.
This is an exceptional opportunity to provide high-level support to the CEO, Deputy CEO, and Trustees. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operational running of the organisation by managing the CEO’s workload, activities, and communications, contributing significantly to its success.
This is a full-time, office-based role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys a dynamic and meaningful workload.
Key Responsibilities
- Diary Management: Proactively manage the CEO’s complex diary, coordinating meetings, prioritising activities, and avoiding scheduling conflicts.
- Travel Arrangements: Organise all travel, accommodation, and logistical arrangements for the CEO, Deputy CEO, and Trustees for both national and international trips, within budget.
- Meeting Preparation: Prepare materials for CEO and Trustee meetings, ensuring all relevant information is provided in advance and follow up on actions post-meeting.
- Correspondence Management: Handle enquiries and correspondence for the CEO, ensuring responses are timely and delegated where appropriate.
- Administrative Support: Manage and submit expenses for the CEO, Deputy CEO, and Trustees; take accurate minutes during Trustee meetings and ensure timely approval.
- Support for Department Directors: Provide diary management assistance for Department Directors to enhance operational efficiency.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
Person Specification
- Experience: Proven experience as a PA or EA, ideally supporting at CEO, Board, or senior management level.
- Skills:
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
- Proactive and solutions-driven, able to take ownership of tasks and work autonomously.
- High level of discretion and trustworthiness in handling confidential information.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
