Temporary Personal Assistant with Recruitment Experience – Southend (Remote/Hybrid)

Our client, a growing tech recruitment business, is seeking a highly organised and experienced Temporary Personal Assistant to provide vital support to the Founder and his team during a period of transition. This dynamic role is ideal for someone with a strong recruitment or agency background, who can hit the ground running and take the pressure off by managing essential administrative tasks and projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contract and Compliance Support: Build and maintain contract books, ensure timesheets are correctly logged, and send out completed contracts.
  • Client Documentation: Complete and update statements of work, questionnaires, and insurance documentation for corporate clients.
  • Office Move Coordination: Organise logistics for the office move from Shenfield to Southend, including liaising with removal services, booking dates, and ensuring office furniture is on-site.
  • CRM Migration: Assist with the migration to a new CRM system.
  • Team Travel Planning: Organise team trips, including a pre-scheduled work week in Malaga and future similar trips.
  • General Administrative Support: Manage day-to-day tasks, such as coordinating updates, ensuring smooth communication, and handling additional ad hoc projects.

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience in a recruitment or agency environment is essential.
  • Proven ability to work independently and handle tasks without requiring close supervision.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office software.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
  • Flexibility to work remotely with the ability to visit the Southend office as needed (approximately every two weeks, with additional visits during the move).

Contract Details

  • This is a temporary role, offering part-time or full-time hours, depending on the candidate’s availability and workload requirements.
  • Flexible working arrangements with a mix of remote and in-office support.
