Part-Time Personal Assistant / Administrator - St Albans, Hertfordshire | Salary: £12-£17 per hour

We are currently recruiting for an organic food producer in search of a friendly and dedicated Part-Time Personal Assistant / Administrator to contribute 3-4 hours per day (mornings or afternoons by arrangement). The office is conveniently located just south of St Albans, Hertfordshire (free parking available). This is an ongoing temporary/rolling contract, and we’re ideally looking for someone who is available at short notice.

Working closely with the Founder/Managing Director, you will be excited to be part of a small, successful local business. This is a fabulous opportunity for a proactive, sharp-minded PA/Administrator with intermediate/advanced MS Office skills, a keen eye for detail, and excellent organisational abilities.

Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Providing comprehensive administrative support to the Founder, such as dealing with enquiries and managing email communications.
  • Diary management: Organising schedules, appointments, and meetings to maximise productivity and efficiency.
  • Assisting in drafting and proofreading business correspondence, reports, and presentations, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Accurate record-keeping.
  • Ad hoc tasks and projects as required.

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous PA/Administrative experience is essential (minimum 3 years).
  • Advanced MS Office skills.
  • Attention to detail and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A flexible, adaptable approach and a willingness to help out with ad hoc tasks.
