Location: Leeds City Centre
Contract: 13-Month Fixed Term (Covering Maternity Leave)
Salary: Up to £37,000 per annum (DOE) plus excellent benefits

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Personal Assistant to join a leading financial services organisation in Leeds city centre on a fixed-term basis. This role will cover maternity leave and involves working alongside a welcoming and friendly team.

Candidates must have previous PA experience to be considered and should be either immediately available or on a short notice period. This is a full-time office-based role that will suit someone confident in providing high-calibre, hands-on support to a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage diaries, organise travel arrangements, and support with meeting facilities.
  • Conduct research and analysis.
  • Prepare, proofread, and format materials in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Handle administrative tasks, including expenses, invoices, and audit documentation.
  • Deliver proactive, high-level support to ensure seamless team operations.
  • Assist the Office Manager with client services and collaborate with peers across multiple offices.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships internally and externally.
  • Organise and manage events, maintaining guest lists and ensuring all requirements are met.
  • Maintain the work-in-progress database weekly.
  • Evaluate and improve systems and procedures to ensure best practices.
  • Manage meeting room bookings and set up meeting rooms with necessary materials.
  • Provide front-of-house service and a meet-and-greet for external parties.
  • Manage telephone calls, take messages, and respond to queries.
  • Order and collate stationery and office provisions.
  • Support the wider team with flexibility in tasks and working hours.

Person Specification:

  • Minimum of 5 years of PA experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
  • Well-presented, professional, and confident.
  • Ability to build long-standing relationships with all levels of seniority, both internally and externally.
  • Excellent attention to detail, as well as verbal and written English skills.
  • Proven ability to multitask and proactively initiate tasks.
  • Team player who is flexible and adaptable.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Hours of Work:

  • Five days per week, core hours 09:00-17:30.
  • Flexibility required for occasional extended hours to complete tasks.
