Job Title: Team Personal Assistant – Financial Communications Consultancy | Location: London | Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (DOE)
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Team Personal Assistant to join a leading financial communications consultancy based in London. This role combines traditional personal assistant responsibilities with additional duties, including research, sourcing, and producing reports for your team. In time, you will also monitor newswires and format/upload announcements to the London Stock Exchange.
This role would suit a motivated, intellectually curious, and driven individual who thrives under pressure and works well to deadlines. You will need to be highly organised, eager to learn, hands-on, and flexible to the needs of others. Working closely with fellow PAs and EAs in the business, they look for individuals who want to learn, add value, and help wherever they can.
Initially fully office-based (while learning and during the probationary period), there is the possibility of hybrid working once all systems have been learned, and trust/knowledge has been established.
Key Responsibilities:
- Email Management: Monitor and organise emails for the team, ensuring prompt responses and effective communication.
- LSE Announcements: Format and upload announcements to the London Stock Exchange (RNS) for market release, which may require early starts and occasional late nights (training will be provided).
- News Monitoring: Track newswires and view share prices using Bloomberg and Reuters, providing timely updates to the team.
- Research: Conduct internet research, including accessing archive news articles using Factiva and preparing reports for internal use.
- Meeting Coordination: Schedule meetings on Zoom/Teams, managing all logistics, including invitations and agendas.
- Press Coverage: Collate coverage into Press Books as requested, ensuring comprehensive documentation of media presence.
- Administrative Support: Process expenses and timesheets for the team and assist with other administrative tasks as needed.
Person Specification:
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Personal Assistant or in a similar administrative role, preferably within a fast-paced environment.
- Organisational Skills: Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a professional demeanor when interacting with clients and colleagues.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with Zoom/Teams.
- Proactive Approach: A proactive approach with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges, demonstrating initiative in your work.
Package Summary:
- Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (DOE).
