An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly organised and proactive Personal Assistant to join our client, in a newly created role supporting the Operations Director and Digital & Tech Director. Personal Assistant to Operations Director & Digital and Tech Director

Manchester City Centre

Contract - Permanent

Salary - £35,000 - £36,000 per annum + 10% Bonus

Role Responsibilities:

  • Calendar & Meeting Management: Efficiently manage the directors' calendars, ensuring their time is optimised and relevant documents are prepared in advance.
  • Email & Call Handling: Prioritise, screen, and respond to enquiries; draft responses or delegate as appropriate.
  • Documentation & Filing: Maintain secure and accessible electronic and paper filing systems aligned with data protection standards.
  • Event Coordination: Organise team meetings, arrange logistics, and manage travel itineraries to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Board & Committee Support: Ensure the timely preparation, collation, and submission of board papers and meeting documents.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Foster effective communication across directorates, liaising closely with heads of departments and supporting collaborative objectives.
  • Project Assistance: Take ownership of ad hoc projects and administrative tasks to support efficiency across the directorates.
  • Union & ELT Meetings: Support trade union interactions and attend ELT/SLT meetings, recording minutes and following up on action items.

Person Specification:

  • Proven experience as a PA within a senior executive environment, preferably in a regulated industry
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an assertive and organised approach
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office, with the ability to manage complex information and communicate clearly
  • Highly confidential, detail-oriented, and able to influence at all levels
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet demanding deadlines
