Personal Assistant – 12-Month Fixed Term Contract
Location: Manchester City Centre
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum (DOE) + completion bonus

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Personal Assistant to join a leading financial services organisation in Manchester city centre. In this dynamic role, you will support a senior executive, providing high-level administrative and operational assistance in a fast-paced environment. This is an office-based role requiring flexibility to meet business and executive needs.
About the Role:
As the Personal Assistant, you’ll be instrumental in supporting the MD with extensive diary management, travel coordination, and meeting preparation. This role involves high levels of discretion and requires a professional who is adept at relationship-building and confident in managing a variety of administrative tasks.
Duties Include:
- Diary Management: Oversee scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming of meetings, ensuring the MD’s calendar is organised and current.
- Meeting Preparation: Collate materials, research attendee profiles, and provide briefings and debriefings for the MD.
- Meeting Coordination: Arrange senior executive meetings across time zones, maintaining discretion and professionalism.
- Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and other Assistants.
- Event Coordination: Organise internal and external events, including meetings, lunches, and dinners.
- Travel Management: Arrange travel, produce itineraries, and ensure policy compliance for the MD and team.
- Expense Management: Prepare and submit expense reports accurately, following company policies.
- Initiative Support: Assist with team and Firm-wide initiatives as directed by the MD.
- Email Management: Manage correspondence and ensure timely responses.
- Presentation Creation: Develop PowerPoint presentations for various uses.
- Project Support: Lead and support ad hoc projects as required.
- Personal Administration: Assist with personal tasks for the MD, including travel bookings and event planning.
Person Specification:
- Experience: Proven experience as a PA supporting at a senior level, ideally in a financial or fast-paced corporate environment.
- Organisational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail with strong prioritisation abilities.
- Discretion: Capable of handling confidential information with the utmost discretion.
- Judgment and Initiative: Effective decision-maker with excellent judgment and a proactive, problem-solving approach.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Positive and Flexible Attitude: Service-oriented, resilient, and able to adapt to high-pressure situations.
- Self-Starter: Motivated with a commitment to continuous improvement.
