Personal Assistant to Legal Director – Salford (Hybrid)
Our client, a friendly and forward-thinking organisation, is seeking a proactive and organised Personal Assistant to support their Legal Director and wider Legal team. This permanent role is based in Salford and offers the opportunity to work from home one day per week, with occasional travel to regional offices.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as a right hand to the Legal Director, including full delegated diary management.
- Build a close working relationship with the Legal Director to manage incoming mail and respond promptly.
- Liaise with the parent company’s Legal, Commercial, Insurance, and CoSec teams on live matters as needed.
- Prepare Board reports and PowerPoint presentations.
- Manage the shared legal mailbox, ensuring organisation and proper filing.
- Serve as a gateway between the in-house Legal Team and various internal teams and external legal firms.
- Oversee administrative tasks, including renewal of solicitors' practising certificates and tracking CPD hours.
- Coordinate internal training sessions for the Legal team, including liaising with external presenters, organising materials, and collecting attendee feedback.
- Maintain and support various systems used by the Legal team for monitoring budgets and processes, suggesting improvements as needed.
- Provide backup for front-of-house tasks, such as greeting visitors and setting up meeting rooms, when required.
- Maintain an organised electronic legal filing system.
- Assist with troubleshooting meeting room connectivity issues in the absence of front-of-house staff.
- Support ad hoc team projects and events.
Person Specification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to work autonomously and use initiative.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact assertively and professionally with varying seniorities.
- Experience supporting at a senior level.
- Previous experience in a property or legal environment is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly in producing and collating lengthy documents.
- Friendly, approachable personality with a positive, can-do attitude.
