Personal Assistant to C-suite and Board (Salford) – Health Care Organisation | Salary: Up to £34,000
We are looking for a proactive Personal Assistant to support the C-suite and the Board of a health care organisation based in Salford.
This is a hands-on role where you will work closely with the Chief Accountable Officer and Board of Directors. You will need to be highly professional in both your manner and presentation. This will suit a proactive self-starter with an ambitious and energetic nature. Exceedingly good communication skills and the ability to form strong working relationships both internally and externally are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Chief Accountable Officer and Board in delivering high-quality primary health care across Salford.
- Ensure the smooth running of the office and effective internal and external liaison to contribute to the successful running of the business.
- Prioritise the CAO’s workload effectively to ensure meetings and reports are provided timely, ensuring the CAO is appropriately briefed.
- Develop and maintain an understanding of the broad spectrum of work areas the CAO is responsible for, maximising the support given and aiding decision-making.
- Manage complex diary and email tasks to ensure efficient use of time, establishing meetings with a wide range of senior staff.
- Take and distribute minutes in a timely fashion, logging actions and ensuring they are followed up to completion.
- Communicate on behalf of the CAO, liaising with suppliers, customers/stakeholders, Board members, and colleagues.
- Facilitate and support Board meetings and the annual AGM.
- Maintain an up-to-date confidential list of all appropriate contacts.
- Provide support with recruitment guidance for departments and directorates.
- Manage and lead ad-hoc delegated projects as required.
- Manage the organisation's head office, including liaison with building management.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as required.
Person Specification:
- Exceptional organisational and diary management skills.
- 2 years+ PA experience.
- High levels of flexibility and adaptability.
- Ability to build relationships at all levels across the business and with external contacts.
- Excellent telephone manner.
- Ability to manage competing tasks and prioritise an ever-changing workload.
- Ability to work under pressure while reaching deadlines and maintaining accuracy.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to determine which emails, reports, and telephone calls require immediate attention from the CAO.
- Strong business and commercial acumen.
This role offers one day per week working from home.
Salary for this role is up to £34,000 DOE.
