Practice Assistant – Prestigious Law Firm
Location: London (Hybrid working available)
Salary: Up to £42,000 per annum (DOE) plus excellent benefits

You will provide integral administrative and coordination support to a Partner and contribute to a high-performing, fee-earning environment. Key Responsibilities
- Diary and Inbox Management: Proactively managing schedules, coordinating meetings, preparing agendas and documentation, and ensuring action points are completed.
- Communication Management: Acting as the primary point of contact for the Partner and fee-earners, handling correspondence with professionalism and discretion.
- Project and Programme Support: Assisting the Partner and Business Development team in planning and delivering special programmes and projects, including event and meeting coordination.
- Document Preparation: Drafting, proofreading, and formatting complex documents, reports, pitches, presentations, and articles.
- Compliance and Filing: Ensuring efficient archiving and filing in line with firm protocols.
- Collaboration: Supporting the wider administrative team and stepping in to cover other Practice Assistants when required.
- Travel Arrangements: Coordinating travel itineraries and related logistics for the Partner and fee-earners.
Person Specification
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years in an administrative role, ideally within the legal or professional services sector.
- Tech Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Diary and Information Management: Proven ability to manage complex diaries, resolve scheduling conflicts, and handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with the confidence to build strong internal and external relationships.
- Organisation and Time Management: Exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive and Solution-Oriented: A self-starter with a willingness to take ownership and find solutions independently.
