Temporary Receptionist – Investment Management

We are seeking a professional and personable Temporary Receptionist to support our client, a reputable investment management firm based in London. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced receptionist to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the front-of-house operates smoothly and efficiently.

About the Role:
As the Temporary Receptionist, you’ll be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, providing a welcoming and professional front-of-house experience. You’ll assist with a range of administrative tasks, ensuring the reception area is well-maintained and supporting the team with day-to-day needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Front Desk Management: Greet all clients and visitors professionally, directing them to the appropriate contacts.
  • Call Handling: Answer and manage incoming calls, taking and relaying messages as required.
  • Meeting Room Coordination: Arrange meeting room bookings, ensuring rooms are prepared and stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Visitor and Security Coordination: Ensure visitors sign in and adhere to security protocols.
  • General Administration: Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry.
  • Mail and Courier Management: Handle incoming and outgoing mail and coordinate courier services as needed.

Person Specification:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a corporate reception or administrative role, ideally within financial or investment management.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills with a professional and friendly demeanour.
  • Organisation: Highly organised with the ability to multitask and prioritise.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Professionalism: Polished and presentable, with excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach.
