About the Role:
As the Temporary Receptionist, you’ll be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, providing a welcoming and professional front-of-house experience. You’ll assist with a range of administrative tasks, ensuring the reception area is well-maintained and supporting the team with day-to-day needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Front Desk Management: Greet all clients and visitors professionally, directing them to the appropriate contacts.
- Call Handling: Answer and manage incoming calls, taking and relaying messages as required.
- Meeting Room Coordination: Arrange meeting room bookings, ensuring rooms are prepared and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Visitor and Security Coordination: Ensure visitors sign in and adhere to security protocols.
- General Administration: Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry.
- Mail and Courier Management: Handle incoming and outgoing mail and coordinate courier services as needed.
Person Specification:
- Experience: Previous experience in a corporate reception or administrative role, ideally within financial or investment management.
- Communication: Strong communication skills with a professional and friendly demeanour.
- Organisation: Highly organised with the ability to multitask and prioritise.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Professionalism: Polished and presentable, with excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach.
