Team Assistant - Investment Banking
Location: City of London
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 plus benefits
Hours: 9:00am - 5:30pm, with flexibility to work from home on Fridays every other week
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Team Assistant to join a leading Investment Bank based in the City of London. This is a highly visible and varied role, providing vital support to the day-to-day operations of the Investment Banking team. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, work collaboratively with colleagues, and build strong relationships at all levels.
This is the perfect role for someone proactive, highly skilled at multitasking, and eager to contribute to a demanding and rewarding environment. Candidates must have proven experience supporting large teams within an Investment Bank.
Responsibilities
- Providing full PA support to team members.
- Comprehensive diary management and coordination.
- Organising and booking logistics for roadshows and meetings (internal and external), including restaurants, travel, accommodation, and transport.
- Producing detailed itineraries.
- Assisting with large meetings and conferences.
- Expenses management.
- Maintaining client data on spreadsheets and CRM systems.
- Answering telephones and providing excellent communication support.
- Offering cover for other secretaries during absence.
- Supporting company-wide administration duties as required.
- Ad-hoc duties aligned with team requirements.
- Adhering to the FCA conduct rules and understanding the regulatory environment.
Skills and Experience
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a PA/Team Assistant role within Investment Banking.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and organised under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organisational skills and multitasking ability.
- Experience in financial services is highly desirable.
