Team Assistant – Investment Banking (Temporary)
Location: City of London
Contract Type: Ongoing Temporary Assignment
Hourly Rate: £20–£22 per hour plus holiday pay

 

An urgent opening has arisen for an experienced Team Assistant to join a City-based Investment Bank on a temporary basis. This busy and varied role will primarily involve supporting the day-to-day operations of the Investment Banking team.

This ongoing assignment is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working collaboratively within a team. Candidates should be open to extending on a month-by-month basis.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing full PA support to team members.
  • Diary management and scheduling.
  • Organising and booking logistics for roadshows and meetings (internal and external), including restaurants, travel, hotels, and transportation.
  • Producing detailed itineraries.
  • Assisting with large meetings and conferences.
  • Managing expenses and processing claims.
  • Maintaining client data on spreadsheets and CRM systems.
  • Answering telephone calls and managing communications professionally.
  • Covering for other secretarial staff during absences.
  • Supporting general administrative duties across the company.
  • Completing ad hoc tasks as required.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a Team Assistant/PA role within Investment Banking.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent telephone manner and high-level interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain organised and effective under pressure while multitasking.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience within Financial Services is desirable.
  • Strong general office skills, including filing, photocopying, and document management.

Working Hours and Flexibility:

  • Hours are 9:00 AM–5:30 PM.
  • The role is primarily office-based, with the flexibility to work from home on Fridays.
