Team Assistant – Investment Firm
Location: City of London (Hybrid, 4 days in office, 1 day remote)
Contract: Temporary (3 months, with potential for extension)
Salary: £22 - £25 per hour + holiday pay
An urgent opportunity has arisen for a Team Assistant to join a prominent investment firm in the City of London on a temporary basis. This three-month role is primarily office-based, with one day per week working from home, and offers a visible position supporting senior asset and fund managers with key administrative tasks. This busy, varied role requires a high level of multitasking and a proactive approach.
Responsibilities:
- Diary Management: Coordinate meeting schedules and logistics, including conference calls, rooms, and refreshments.
- Travel Arrangements: Plan and organise travel for the team with required authorisations.
- First Point of Contact: Handle internal and external queries with professionalism.
- Internal Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless process completion and timely information sharing.
- Expense Management: Input and reconcile team expenses via Concur.
- Documentation Preparation: Prepare PowerPoint presentations, reports, and other documents in required formats.
- Stakeholder Relationships: Build strong networks with both internal and external contacts.
- Committee Support: Assist with the administration of Investment Committee papers.
- Ad Hoc Projects: Support with project work and provide cover within the support team as needed.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in team support roles within financial services or corporate settings.
- Strong organisational skills, with a proactive and adaptable attitude.
- Competent in multitasking and handling varying priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
- Familiarity with Concur and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Word.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, offering flexibility and support.
